SLIDING SCALE

We offer a sliding scale for the workshop fees, including a full vegan board and simple accommodation in a shared room. In this way, we hope to make our offerings accessible to more people and to counterbalance economic injustice and systemic oppression. If you’re unable to cover the lowest price (80 €) on the scale you can write us.

The success of a sliding scale requires community collaboration. Ideally, it allows everyone to pay what they’re able to while honoring the time and resources we invested into the courses.

0 - 80 € / 0 - 350 zł apply for a solidarity place - we offer 3 spots between 0-80 € for assistance with cooking

80 - 180 € / 350 - 780 zł your place will be substituted by other participants

180 - 280 € / 780 - 1200 zł your contribution covers the basic cost, e.g. accommodation, food and you support the participation of other participants

280 - 480 € / 1200 - 2080 zł your contribution covers the basic costs and supports another participant. And the facilitators of the Plutonix Collective get money for the preparation and facilitation of the workshop.

Inspired by Nicole Rose, we want to share a few thoughts that might help you figure out where on the sliding scale you are. We trust your honest self-assessment.

"Class is complex. It is inseparable from other forms of oppression (racism, sexism, transphobia, ableism, etc). People do not fit into neat categories or into neat sliding scales. Capitalist society generates and perpetuates a feeling of scarcity, for many this is acutely real (e.g. poverty), for others it is an emotional feeling of instability and fear which is also very real. Studies have shown that even millionaires feel that they do not have ‘enough’. Therefore, a sliding scale is a bit more complicated because of our different relationships with money - hence why it is important to integrate an analysis of systemic oppression and class rather than an emotional feeling of what you can afford." - Nicole Rose
